The monster of AIDS is spreading with no brakes or no shakes all the efforts of various agencies seem to be leading to some dead end. People are dying in mysterious circumstances at young age. The greatest victims of this dreaded disease are of course women and children -- time has come when one can no longer say for sure that the person one is going to marry is free from AIDS.

Amongst the other preventive measure to control AIDS such as -

  • Avoid anal / oral sex with multiple sex partners.

  • During sex use Nirodh (Condom). Do not reuse the Condom.

  • Treat sexually transmitted diseases promptly.

  • HIV positive women should not get pregnant.

  • Only use HIV free blood and blood products.

  • Always use disinfected and disposable needles and syringes.

  • Do not share / re-use needles during tatooing

  • Avoid sharing razors with others in a saloon.

  • Accept body organs from HIV free donors.

 We believe there is one more effective way " PRE MARRIAGE AIDS TEST ! " Traditional societies are paving way to urban landscapes with little social or family interaction or restraint on people. No one is sure about the activities or character of an individual. Under these circumstances AIDS has become a real tricky subject.

One cannot ask for a negative AIDS report before marriage. it may be very difficult to get married or the very basis of marriage -FAITH- may be lost even before the marriage to wriggle out of such catchy situations, it becomes imperative that governments pass a law whereby every marriage be preceded by mandatory AIDS testing of the partners and only after both the partners get the reports and give consent should they be allowed to get married.

This way the people can be saved from the problematic situation wherein if they wish to know the status of the prospective partner they would land in a soup  the governments have to take such a drastic pro-active step if innocent lives are to be not nipped in the bud. Given below is a Hypothetical Conversation between two open minded people, if you could see yourself supporting either of them, the mission of ' Risk Free Partner ' accomplished.

Why can't you ask your partner for a HIV test? Grow up!!!!!
That may be possible in certain societies, but in traditional societies it is not possible.

If you don't want to marry someone HIV positive, and you are a responsible adult, to ask someone to be tested is not unreasonable.
Right, but in non-western societies that is not possible and the greatest danger today is in non-western societies not in the west.

If two people really love each other, they would find ways to deal with a positive result.
When someone is sleeping around and get AIDS where is the question of true love then??

Personally, I have asked new partners to be tested for HIV among other tests. Someone who would refuse would simply be denied intimacy with me.
so what true love are you talking about then?? If they get HIV test there is true love and if not there is no love??

Just a little fact....as you obviously don't know that much about the disease. AIDS is the end result of HIV infection. Just because you test positive for HIV, doesn't mean that you have AIDS.
I think I am aware of that but one day or the other sooner than later one is going to succumb to some disease due to lack of resistance power.

The drugs on the market today keep people living longer lives, in an HIV state.
And they are not at all cheap its like a zombie life.


AIDS only refers to the point where the infected person has below 200 T-cells( these are in sense your immune system) which leaves the individual unable to fight various other "normal" infections. People don't die mysteriously, they die from complications arising from the medication, or their body's inability to fight off other infections.
You are right, but in traditional societies there is a great stigma attached to AIDS and seldom anyone openly says they have AIDS they give some reason for the death I myself have come across lot of young people who have vanished from venturing out for a few months and then heard that they were bed ridden for a long time and dead I can safely assume that most probably they died due to complications arising out of AIDS. 

It is our responsibility to educate ourselves about the risks of sexual activity. It is not the governments responsibility to enact a law to force us to be responsible and to help stop the spread of this terrible disease. Knowledge is power......
You are right but as long as societies remain traditional such a thing is not possible there is nothing wrong in governments intervening for the welfare of the greater good of the society making it mandatory by a rule of law makes things smooth for everyone concerned.

Various governments of states and nation are working on enacting a law to make Pre Marriage Aids Test mandatory. What is stopping them  is the public awareness and readiness to ask for a HIV test before marriage! As said earlier if you could relate to either of the two people in above conversation. Surely you will either support the making of  law or ask for HIV report without any law ! In both the cases our mission is Accomplished.
